InnoKB Web Interface Screenshots

InnoKB server provides the web interfaces respectively for viewers, editors and administrators. The screenshots posted on this webpage were captured from within Apple Safari web browser.

The Viewer Interface

Glance at the main frame

When you login to the viewer interface, the first database is automatically loaded, and list the info items by date-modified in the decreasing order, so you will see that the recently modified info items are listed on the begining of the results page.

Viewing info items inside the frame

Clicking an info item opens it under the 'Item Content' tab inside the frame.

Viewing info items in separate webpages

Right click an info item and select the 'Open link in new window' menu item, the info item will be shown in a separate webpage.

Filtering info items by labels

Clicking an label in the tree view runs a query with the label, and the resulting info items are listed.

Searching databases

Under the 'Search' tab, creators, revisors, and labels can be combined into the search critera, and you can specify the database range to search. There's also a quick search box on the top of the main frame, whereby you can supply a text to find quickly at any time.

The Editor Interface

Creating new info items

To create new info items, press the 'New item' tool button on the top of the item list, then you'll enter a text to title the info item, and selectively specify a label for the new item.

Creating labels and sub labels

To create new labels, press the 'New label' tool button on the top of the label list, then you'll enter a label name, and press the 'New child', or 'Sibling above', and or 'Sibling below' button to create new labels. Note that the base label is set to the current label.

Editing within the integrated rich text editor

To edit the info item's content, press the 'Edit' tool button under the 'Item Content' tab, then the content will go into the design mode, whereby you can type your text and format the text within the rich text editor. When you've done editing the content, press the 'OK' button to save the changes.

Uploading files as attachments of info items

To upload files as attachments, press the 'Attach' tool button on the right sidebar under the 'Item Content' tab, then you can select local files to upload. More than one files can be selected onto the list and then uploaded in one go.

Applying labels to info items

To apply labels to info items, press the 'Label' tool button on the right sidebar under the 'Item Content' tab, or select 'Apply label' menu item under the 'Info Items' tab, then you can browse the label tree and select a label. While browsing the label tree, you have the convenience of adding new labels by press the 'New...' button on the popup window.

Removing labels from on info items

To remove labels from on info items, first select a collection of info items on the results list, then select 'Remove label' menu item under the 'Info Items' tab, then you can check labels to remove from on the selected info items.

The Administrator Interface

The administrator interface appears in the Tabbed form as below.

About the application server

Under the 'About' tab, you can view the summary info of the application server, and install licenses on your server;

Database maintenance

Under the 'Databases' tab, you can create/trash databases, view statistics, clear/update index data, and adjust sequence for databases to be listed;

User accounts management

Under the 'Users' tab, you can create/delete/disable/enable/comment user accounts, and set owner groups for user accounts;

Group accounts management

Under the 'Groups' tab, you can create/delete/disable/enable/comment group accounts;

Granting privileges on databases to groups

Under the 'Privileges' tab, you can create/delete/edit privilege entries, and grant privileges on databases to groups individually;

Turning anonymous access On/Off

Under the 'Anonymous Access' tab, you can turn anonymous access on/off. To turn it on, you'll need to specify a normal user account for random visitors to obtain the appropriate access privileges;

Acitve web sessions management

Under the 'Web Sessions' tab, you can view the currently active web sessions, and forcedly close any sessions at the administrator's discretion;
